When Oséas Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the SC Mandassaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséas Moraes couldn't finish the play. Daniel de Lima struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Geovânio Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Mandassaia. Geovânio Veloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséas Moraes's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Oséas Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovânio Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséas Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Mandassaia's Alexsandro Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save SC Mandassaia from getting a goal against them. Geovânio Veloso came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Mandassaia's Oséas Moraes. But to his dismay, Oséas Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maicon Coelho hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ELO CRF's zone, Pedro Luís Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Veloso came out of the goal and Pedro Luís Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rubens Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rdth minute of the game Oséas Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ELO CRF's Geovânio Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexsandro Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ELO CRF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Maicon Coelho hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Daniel de Lima made a precise shot to the right of Geovânio Veloso. ELO CRF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 47 played minutes ELO CRF got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Mangueira. 48 minutes into the match, SC Mandassaia's Daniel de Lima broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

SC Mandassaia's Alexsandro Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Pernambucano in the 58th minute of play. Oséas Moraess short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Geovânio Veloso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 62nd minute Oséas Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Rubens Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Mandassaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubens Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséas Moraes in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovânio Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Maicon Coelho notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of SC Mandassaia's Alexsandro Leite. Alexsandro Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Moraes got free with Geovânio Veloso in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dráusio de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio Veloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséas Moraes's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Alexsandro Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A beautiful save bye ELO CRF's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Mandassaia's Oséas Moraes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geovânio Veloso. That made the score 1-4 after 81 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel de Lima in the 87th minute of play forced SC Mandassaia's goalkeeper Alexsandro Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ELO CRF's zone, Oséas Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Veloso came out of the goal and Oséas Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oséas Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oséas Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Veloso having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, SC Mandassaia's Oséas Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovânio Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Mandassaia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
