When Guiomar's Millrick Gallarde in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Oswaldo Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswaldo Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tapiramuta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Guiomar a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Henrique Romero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tapiramuta FC's Tomé Galvão. 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, Guiomar's Millrick Gallarde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomé Galvão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 42 played minutes Guiomar got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Botelho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millrick Gallarde in the 44th minute of play forced Tapiramuta FC's goalkeeper Tomé Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Millrick Gallarde's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Augusto Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, William Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd minute, Cléber de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Millrick Gallarde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Tapiramuta FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Coutinho came free, but Tomé Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Millrick Gallarde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapiramuta FC's Tomé Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Oséas Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guiomar's Wilian Brodel was substituted for Mehmet Osman Ramazan.
