After 7 minutes, Franklin Siqueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaves EC and the Guiomar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Chaves EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th play minute Lenílson Botelho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Koray Demirtuğ. 1-0. After 11 played minutes Chaves EC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Custódio. In the 15th minute Franklin Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritvaldis Stīpa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chaves EC's Koray Demirtuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Coutinho in the 16th minute of play. Koray Demirtuğ was a little too slow when Millrick Gallarde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 22nd minute Rony Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritvaldis Stīpa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Michel da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Koray Demirtuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30thth minute of the game Millrick Gallarde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaves EC's Koray Demirtuğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Cléber de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Velasco scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ritvaldis Stīpa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Koray Demirtuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Millrick Gallarde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Velasco was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millrick Gallarde in the 54th minute of play forced Chaves EC's goalkeeper Koray Demirtuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lenílson Botelho took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Koray Demirtuğ. Koray Demirtuğ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Guiomar's William Coutinho got a free kick in the 67th minute. Guiomar made a substitution. Wilian Brodel replaced Mehmet Osman Ramazan. Koray Demirtuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Romero in the 71st minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millrick Gallarde in the 92nd minute of play forced Chaves EC's goalkeeper Koray Demirtuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chaves EC's Koray Demirtuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Millrick Gallarde in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guiomar had played much better football throughout.
