In the 11th minute of the match, Jerônimo Pereira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomé Galvão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ramiro Carrasco hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Tapiramuta FC's João Augusto Abraão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enéas Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oséas Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Eger having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, João Augusto Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapiramuta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Augusto Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enéas Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vânderson Amaral hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, A.C. Kearny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Godoi's late challenge caught a A.C. Kearny's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute of the match Matías Paraibano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enéas Eger skillfully saved the ball. Enéas Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Augusto Abraão was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute João Augusto Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes A.C. Kearny got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Valadares. After having played for 61 minutes, Jerônimo Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. Kearny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Willian Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Augusto Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerônimo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tomé Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomé Galvão came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Kearny's Ramiro Carrasco. But to his dismay, Ramiro Carrasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Tapiramuta FC's João Augusto Abraão in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.C. Kearny's goalie prevented a goal. Jerônimo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Galvão having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Tapiramuta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Pereira came free, but Tomé Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, A.C. Kearny's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Abraão came free, but Enéas Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Tapiramuta FC were awarded a corner. Matías Paraibano went to the cornerflag to take it. Jerônimo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tomé Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. A.C. Kearny were victorious despite being under pressure from Tapiramuta FC for much of the match.
