Palmeiras Votorantim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Toninho Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim fans jumped to their feet. Toninho Botelho hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Justin Thompson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Toledo's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the ArabLionZ FC defense, Toninho Botelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justin Thompson. The ArabLionZ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justin Thompson should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the match, ArabLionZ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Botelho came free, but Justin Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim were the better team. S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
