Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) In the 4th match minute, Japira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Nilson de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Nóbrega in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of OFF booed when Japira SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hudson Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilson de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Raí Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 25 in the game by Hudson Valle from a close distance when the talented Nilson de Queiroz managed to make a qualified save. OFF's players were relieved. After 26 played minutes OFF got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Gaspar. Japira SS's Amadeu Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nilson de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hudson Valle in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd play minute Hudson Valle came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nilson de Queiroz. 1-0. Hudson Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson de Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agnaldo Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Velloso took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson de Queiroz. Nilson de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Nilson de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson Valle in the 57th minute of play. Hudson Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson de Queiroz having to make a save. José Vítor Nóbrega took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson de Queiroz. Nilson de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adhemar Tasso during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nilson de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, OFF's Agnaldo Toledo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in OFF's zone, Hudson Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson de Queiroz came out of the goal and Hudson Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Hudson Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agnaldo Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão Figueiredo having to make a save. In the 89th minute Hudson Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Lima hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Guilherme Soares hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Japira SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of OFF for a fine match.
