In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ArabLionZ FC's goalkeeper Justin Thompson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Franklin Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Fernando Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ArabLionZ FC's zone, Rony Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Thompson came out of the goal and Rony Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Justin Thompson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Clemente Velasco in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a defensive mix-up in ArabLionZ FC's zone, Clemente Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Thompson came out of the goal and Clemente Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Velasco had several of the ArabLionZ FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Justin Thompson as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Chaves EC's Clemente Velasco in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ArabLionZ FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Clemente Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justin Thompson was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute Chaves EC were awarded a corner. Hernani Paulista went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Chaves EC's corner Hernani Paulista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Justin Thompson quite easily take care of the ball. Justin Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Siqueira in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Velasco was the one to do the kick off. ArabLionZ FC's Justin Thompson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Velasco in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Clemente Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justin Thompson was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Justin Thompson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Velasco's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Michel da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Velasco in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justin Thompson saved ArabLionZ FC from getting behind. Franklin Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justin Thompson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The Chaves EC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Chaves EC's Clemente Velasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind ArabLionZ FC's goalkeeper Justin Thompson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Chaves EC booed when ArabLionZ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chaves EC's Wiliam Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernani Paulista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justin Thompson. ArabLionZ FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clemente Velasco took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justin Thompson. Justin Thompson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Clemente Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Clemente Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chaves EC had played much better football throughout.
