Hélder Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Trevisan in the 5th minute of the match. Hélder Silva stood somewhat misplaced when Luiz Gustavo Trevisan came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. After 8 minutes of play, Guapiranga's Anderson Donato made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Eusko was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Gustavo Trevisan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hélder Silva. That made the score 2-1 in the 11 minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Joélson dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EC Rodrigus MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Luiz Gustavo Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Guapiranga's goalkeeper Hélder Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joélson dos Santos. When Joélson dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the EC Rodrigus MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joélson dos Santos couldn't finish the play. EC Rodrigus MZ's Joélson dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guapiranga's zone, Joélson dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Silva came out of the goal and Joélson dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, Guapiranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Silva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oséias de Sena. In the 35th minute, José Augusto Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joélson dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Hélder Silva made a huge save. Hélder Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson dos Santos in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as EC Rodrigus MZ's Joélson dos Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hélder Silva. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Joélson dos Santos could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Hélder Silva however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renatinho Moreira was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Guapiranga's zone, Joélson dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Silva came out of the goal and Joélson dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Joélson dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guapiranga's Hélder Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélder Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson dos Santos in the 55th minute of play. Guapiranga's Hélder Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Batista in the 57th minute of play. Joélson dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Silva came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by EC Rodrigus MZ's Miguel Tadzio. But to his dismay, Miguel Tadzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 69 minutes into the game, Miguel Tadzio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Hélder Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anderson Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, EC Rodrigus MZ's Zdzislaw Pankiewicz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zdzislaw Pankiewicz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of EC Rodrigus MZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zdzislaw Pankiewicz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Narciso Eusko, was totally fooled by Guapiranga's José Augusto Meireles, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hélder Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeng Kun Shi went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute, Joélson dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EC Rodrigus MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-2.
