Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victor Toledo got the match started through his kick off. Anderson Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Anderson Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anderson Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Toninho Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hélder Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Guapiranga got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Motta. The supporters of Guapiranga booed when S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Guapiranga's Igor Porto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Donatello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 26 minutes, Beto de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim and the Guapiranga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beto de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Pontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's goalkeeper Joel Donatello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Porto in the 36th minute of play forced S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's goalkeeper Joel Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anderson Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Donatello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Porto made a kick off. Anderson Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Donatello having to interfere. Joel Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Guapiranga's Igor Porto in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's goalie prevented a goal. After 60 played minutes Igor Porto rounded S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's Joel Donatello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Igor Porto scored 1-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Donatello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Anderson Donato made a precise shot to the right of Joel Donatello. S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Guapiranga's Hélder Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Botelho in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Anderson Donato reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Donatello. The goal made the score 1-5. After having played for 79 minutes, Igor Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guapiranga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, S.E. Palmeiras Votorantim's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Porto came free, but Joel Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Toninho Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Silva having to interfere. Renato Soeiro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
