With a little luck, ArabLionZ FC's Justin Thompson got control of the ball when Luiz Gustavo Trevisan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joélson dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Thompson having to interfere. Justin Thompson came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by EC Rodrigus MZ's Luiz Gustavo Trevisan. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, EC Rodrigus MZ's Valdir Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justin Thompson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, EC Rodrigus MZ's Joélson dos Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Luiz Gustavo Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Justin Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EC Rodrigus MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oséias de Sena in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Pedro Guilherme almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ArabLionZ FC's Justin Thompson did a great save. ArabLionZ FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Valdir Batista scored to the left of an out of position Justin Thompson, making the score, 5-0. If Joélson dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joélson dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Justin Thompson made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson dos Santos in the 53rd minute of play forced ArabLionZ FC's goalkeeper Justin Thompson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joélson dos Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justin Thompson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joélson dos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Gustavo Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Thompson having to interfere. In the 55th minute Valdir Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes ArabLionZ FC got a freekick which was hit by Doni Quintal. Justin Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson dos Santos in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, ArabLionZ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Justin Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes ArabLionZ FC got a freekick which was hit by Doni Quintal. Justin Thompson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Joélson dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson dos Santos in the 83rd minute of play forced ArabLionZ FC's goalkeeper Justin Thompson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Luiz Gustavo Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Rodrigus MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Thompson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Pedro Guilherme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Trevisan scored 7-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justin Thompson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. EC Rodrigus MZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
