Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcelo Txanton took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Eriberto Corrêa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The União Barbarense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 5 played minutes Porongos got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Calvino. After some careless play in the União Barbarense defense, Marcelo Txanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Braga. The União Barbarense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Braga should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Benê Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. União Barbarense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porongos the free kick. A collision led to União Barbarense getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Benê Lara hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes União Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Félix. Eriberto Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Christiano Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. União Barbarense's Benê Lara pulled a muscle in his back after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. União Barbarense's Benedito Tróia was substituted for Benê Lara. Enrique Genova kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Marcelo Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porongos's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Txanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmar Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Porongos's Osmar Braga threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcelo Txanton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 30 played minutes União Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Corrêa. Benedito Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, União Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Txanton came free, but Osmar Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Txanton in the 37th minute of play forced União Barbarense's goalkeeper Osmar Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porongos's Alfredo Calvino got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Marcelo Txanton, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Osmar Braga was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, União Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Txanton came free, but Osmar Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. União Barbarense's Osmar Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Txanton in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Marcelo Txanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Christiano Castro made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Eriberto Corrêa sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 71 minutes, Marcelo Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porongos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Txanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to União Barbarense getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Michel de Almeida hit a great ball. Osmar Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Txanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Porongos's Christiano Castro got control of the ball when Eriberto Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Porongos's Enrique Genova got a free kick in the 77th minute. With 81 minutes on the clock, Rony Mota commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Porongos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of União Barbarense:s goal. Charles do Vale shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Eriberto Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
