After a defensive mix-up in PIRIPERI FC's zone, Marcelo Txanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Diegotxe came out of the goal and Marcelo Txanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute Alfredo Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Porongos getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Teodoro Nicholas hit a great ball. PIRIPERI FC's Horacio Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Txanton in the 14th minute of play. PIRIPERI FC's Adelino Sanches quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Walmyr Silveira, made in the 15th minute of the game. Enio Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Christiano Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Porongos's Marcelo Txanton made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horacio Diegotxe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horacio Diegotxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Txanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Calvino in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Diegotxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Marcelo Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enio Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PIRIPERI FC's Horacio Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Txanton in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Marcelo Txanton sped through PIRIPERI FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horacio Diegotxe. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Txanton to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Genova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Horacio Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Marcelo Txanton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Teodoro Nicholas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. After 64 minutes, Enrique Genova mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porongos and the PIRIPERI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Porongos got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Genova. Walmyr Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Porongos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
