The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, PIRIPERI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 14thth minute of the game Orlando Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neropolis SC's Pedro Luís Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Luís Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Lucas in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, PIRIPERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Albuquerque came free, but Horacio Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match PIRIPERI FC got a corner. Neropolis SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Fábio Britto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Orlando Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute of the match Sandro Veiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Diegotxe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Vargas got free with Horacio Diegotxe in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Vargas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 39th playminute. Thanks to some nice moves Francisco Vargas could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Horacio Diegotxe however easily saved by the left post.

51 minutes into the match, PIRIPERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Proença came free, but Horacio Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, PIRIPERI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Carioca to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Maurinho Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Neropolis SC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Albuquerque in the 61st minute of play forced PIRIPERI FC's goalkeeper Horacio Diegotxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, PIRIPERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Albuquerque came free, but Horacio Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Vargas took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Diegotxe. Horacio Diegotxe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Orlando Lucas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Pedro Luís Magalhães 87 minutes into the match. Horacio Diegotxe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Vargas went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Neropolis SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while PIRIPERI FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
