In the 12thth minute of the game Eriberto Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turvania AD's Leandro Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, União Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Pinho came free, but Osmar Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Tinoco's late challenge caught a Turvania AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. Diego Tinoco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Virgílio Guerra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Turvania AD's Durval Duarte quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 19 minutes, Tomás Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turvania AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualter Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Braga having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match, Eriberto Corrêa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leandro Maciel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 26th match minute, Turvania AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Enéas Cunha hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thiago Arósio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leandro Maciel. Turvania AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Osmar Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Pinho in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Tomás Pinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turvania AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Tomás Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Braga having to interfere. In the 47th minute Tomás Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

51 minutes into the match, Turvania AD's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Salles came free, but Leandro Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Pinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Osmar Braga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gualter Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Osmar Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmar Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Pinho in the 74th minute of the match. Leandro Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for União Barbarense. The União Barbarense fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Turvania AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
