Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Amauri Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guarama FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave União Barbarense the free kick. The supporters of União Barbarense booed when Guarama FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Braga having to interfere. Osmar Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glauco Cordeiro in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Glauco Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osmar Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Serginho Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Salles in the 11th minute of the match. Glauco Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Braga having to interfere. Glauco Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Osmar Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Osmar Braga made a huge save. In the 34th minute Mário Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Salles in the 38th minute of play forced Guarama FC's goalkeeper Serginho Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osmar Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enéas Valle hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The supporters of União Barbarense booed when Guarama FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles do Vale was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind União Barbarense's goalkeeper Osmar Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glauco Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Osmar Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in União Barbarense's zone, Glauco Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Orlando Salles came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the União Barbarense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Salles couldn't finish the play. Mário Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Osmar Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Mário Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Cordeiro in the 87th minute of play forced União Barbarense's goalkeeper Osmar Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guarama FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
