After 3 minutes, Norberto Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avencas AD and the JupiterGT players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Avencas AD getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Norberto Munhoz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Pontes in the 6th minute of play forced Avencas AD's goalkeeper Leopoldo Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Mazza in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leopoldo Oliveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claudinei Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, JupiterGT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes, Avencas AD's Duda de Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adriano Lago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Avencas AD reached it. Adriano Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Aguiar in the 32nd minute of play forced JupiterGT's goalkeeper Adriano Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Zézinho Aguiar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Umberto Vergílio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adriano Lago. JupiterGT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Zézinho Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeca Barral to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Avencas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, JupiterGT's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Barral came free, but Adriano Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, JupiterGT's Claudinei Godoi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! JupiterGT's Adriano Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Barral in the 59th minute of play. Sílvio Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Adriano Lago successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Barral in the 64th minute of play forced JupiterGT's goalkeeper Adriano Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Oliveira having to interfere. Zeca Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Adriano Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zézinho Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Adriano Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho Aguiar in the 72nd minute. When JupiterGT's Laércio Mazza in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avencas AD's goalie prevented a goal. Adriano Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho Aguiar in the 75th minute. Leopoldo Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Mazza in the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zézinho Aguiar could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Adriano Lago however easily saved by the left post. 80 minutes into the game, Sílvio Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JupiterGT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avencas AD the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Avencas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Lago was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Charles Simão. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Laércio Mazza sped through Avencas AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Oliveira. Adriano Lago stood somewhat misplaced when Zeca Barral came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 91 minute. Tiago Carneiro's late challenge caught a JupiterGT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. Tiago Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Laércio Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Oliveira. Avencas AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JupiterGT fully deserved thier win.
