A collision led to Porongos getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marcelo Txanton hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Calvino in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Poling saved Corinthians FC from getting behind. Marcelo Txanton scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Poling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Michel Diniz made a precise shot to the right of Christiano Castro. Porongos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Corinthians FC's zone, Marcelo Txanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Poling came out of the goal and Marcelo Txanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Michel Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corinthians FC's protests and gave Michel Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. Michel Diniz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Rony Mota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Poling. Corinthians FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute Marcelo Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulisses Fernandez during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Corinthians FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Txanton came free, but Daniel Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Poling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Txanton in the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Marcelo Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Txanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Daniel Poling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Poling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Calvino in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Christiano Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the game, Marcelo Txanton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Poling. Marcelo Txanton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. In the 67th minute Marcelo Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Marcelo Txanton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Poling. Marcelo Txanton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. Daniel Poling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Txanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marcelo Txanton came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Porongos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Txanton couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Nicholas lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Porongos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Corinthians FC. Roman Abesadze stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christiano Castro. 5-3. 91 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Calvino came free, but Daniel Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiano Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Alfredo Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Poling having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Corinthians FC had won after a very even match.
