Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Víktor Pombal started the match with the kick off. When Juarês Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neropolis SC's protests and gave Juarês Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute of the match Kléber Baiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Magalhães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cleiton Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Mário Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Neropolis SC's zone, Mário Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Magalhães came out of the goal and Mário Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mário Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pedro Luís Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Tande struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Pedro Luís Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarama FC. 30 minutes into the game, Sandro Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neropolis SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarama FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Neropolis SC's Sandro Veiga got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mário Tande struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Pedro Luís Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarama FC. In the 33rd minute Cléberson Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Guarama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Meireles to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Guarama FC's Serginho Cearense got control of the ball when Vânderson Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mário Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vânderson Albuquerque was the one to do the kick off. Mário Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zé Roberto Proença fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neropolis SC's protests and gave Zé Roberto Proença a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Neropolis SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Proença. Mário Tande struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Luís Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarama FC. Mário Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Magalhães having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Neropolis SC's zone, Cléberson Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Magalhães came out of the goal and Cléberson Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Neropolis SC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Tande came free, but Pedro Luís Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vânderson Albuquerque in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Cearense saved Guarama FC from getting behind. When Víktor Pombal fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guarama FC's protests and gave Víktor Pombal a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Mário Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarama FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Mário Tande notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Neropolis SC's Pedro Luís Magalhães. Pedro Luís Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Mário Tande came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Guarama FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Tande couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Neropolis SC's Pedro Luís Magalhães got control of the ball when Mário Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Neropolis SC's Vânderson Albuquerque in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guarama FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pedro Luís Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Mário Tande sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Enéas Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Luís Magalhães, 0-4. 90 minutes in the game, Mário Tande fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pedro Luís Magalhães having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário Tande got free with Pedro Luís Magalhães in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Neropolis SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guarama FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
