Antônio de Salles took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilvan Rosa. Gilvan Rosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio de Salles in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Rosa saved ESQUADRILHA DA FUMAÇA F.C from getting behind. Robinho Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Linares in the 8th minute of the match. Antônio de Salles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Gilvan Rosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cachaceiros FC's Antônio de Salles in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESQUADRILHA DA FUMAÇA F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Osmar Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, ESQUADRILHA DA FUMAÇA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio de Salles came free, but Gilvan Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio de Salles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Gilvan Rosa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Gilvan Rosa managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Cachaceiros FC's Antônio de Salles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 37th play minutes Antônio de Salles shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Gilvan Rosa and just under the crossbar into goal. Robinho Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo de Carvalho in the 41st minute of play. A hard shot 44 in the game by Antônio de Salles from a close distance when the talented Gilvan Rosa managed to make a qualified save. ESQUADRILHA DA FUMAÇA F.C's players were relieved. Cachaceiros FC's Yan Salgado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ESQUADRILHA DA FUMAÇA F.C. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute, Antônio de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 61 minutes of play, Cachaceiros FC's Antônio de Salles made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilvan Rosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dudu Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Rosa having to interfere. The supporters of ESQUADRILHA DA FUMAÇA F.C booed when Cachaceiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio de Salles in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilvan Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio de Salles in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Antônio de Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilvan Rosa. ESQUADRILHA DA FUMAÇA F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio de Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Gilvan Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio de Salles in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Antônio de Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Gilvan Rosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cachaceiros FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
