He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachaceiros FC reached it. Itaberaba's Vinícius Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Itaberaba from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Itaberaba getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Evaristo Dracena hit a great ball. Cachaceiros FC's Paulo José Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Tepedino in the 22nd minute of play. After 28th play minutes Patrick Tepedino shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Paulo José Ceresso and just under the crossbar into goal. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Itaberaba! Vinícius Sergipano had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Arlindo Luz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Cachaceiros FC's Arlindo Luz after 34 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Itaberaba's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. Itaberaba's Vinícius Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Fonseca in the 37th minute of play. Ale Crowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vinícius Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itaberaba's Tony Toledo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A hard shot by Arlindo Luz from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Vinícius Sergipano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Toledo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vinícius Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bin Osama in the 45th minute. Vinícius Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio de Salles in the 46th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Itaberaba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
