Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adalberto de Queirós started the match with the kick off. Kléberson Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ale Crowley in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match, Adalberto de Queirós tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo José Ceresso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With 7 minutes on the clock, Claudinho Nóbrega commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 8th minute, Claudinho Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betinho Trigo struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Paulo José Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cannavieiras. Cannavieiras's Kléberson Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ale Crowley in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cannavieiras's Adalberto de Queirós got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Gil Fonseca notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cannavieiras's Kléberson Pena. Kléberson Pena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ale Crowley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachaceiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ale Crowley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléberson Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cannavieiras's Kléberson Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Fonseca in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Fontes during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cachaceiros FC booed when Cannavieiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléberson Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bin Osama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho Trigo shot from long distance in the 36th minute, but Paulo José Ceresso was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With a little luck, Cachaceiros FC's Paulo José Ceresso got control of the ball when Adalberto de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo José Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adalberto de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Dalmo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paulo José Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Cachaceiros FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bin Osama to strike the kick off in the second half. Dalmo Gomes took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo José Ceresso. Paulo José Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 57 played minutes Cannavieiras got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Santana. A collision led to Cachaceiros FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rony Gerber hit a great ball. After 65 minutes of play, Cannavieiras's Luciano Santana made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo José Ceresso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Cachaceiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Santana came free, but Paulo José Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Betinho Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cannavieiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Betinho Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo José Ceresso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Luciano Santana came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cannavieiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Santana couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Adalberto de Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Paulo José Ceresso. Cachaceiros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Paulo José Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Ale Crowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bin Osama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kléberson Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
