Acácio Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Saraiva in the 5th minute of the match. Acácio Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Saraiva in the 17th minute of play. Roma Sc were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Picles de Pepino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilson de Souza took the corner. Picles de Pepino's Acácio Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Saraiva in the 27th minute of play. Sidnei Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lounès Bensaoula, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Picles de Pepino's Acácio Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Souza in the 33rd minute of play. Christian Kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Pombal having to interfere. Lounès Bensaoula struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Sidnei Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Picles de Pepino. If Christian Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Saraiva to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Edgar Souza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Acácio Falcão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zé Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Kaiser scored 1-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidnei Pombal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Zafran Lim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Picles de Pepino's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Saraiva came free, but Acácio Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Roma Sc's Anselmo Saraiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Acácio Falcão. That made the score 1-1 after 95 minutes of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Picles de Pepino players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
