An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Galvão in the 27th minute of play forced Easy United's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Easy United's attentive Elias Mineiro managed to snatch the ball when Gabriel Vieira made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Vinícius Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Dagoberto Campidelis took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Vinícius Sergipano to make any attempt to save it.

58 minutes into the match, Easy United's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Barreto came free, but Luís Fabiano Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gilmar Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Easy United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Guimarães couldn't finish the play. Gilmar Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vito Duarte hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Chants of Itaberaba echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Easy United had held the ball for most of the match.
