Passamo EC's Erik de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony de Barros in the 5th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cobe SC's Tony de Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik de Amaral. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. After 15 played minutes Passamo EC got a freekick which was hit by Gino Matos. Erik de Amaral was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erik Vargas. Cléber Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Mesquita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cobe SC defense, Cléber Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Mesquita. The Cobe SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Mesquita should have stopped the shot. Tony de Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik de Amaral having to make a save. Tony de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik de Amaral having to interfere. In the 37th minute Tony de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Matos in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Cléber Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Mesquita. Cobe SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cléber Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marquinhos Baiano got free with Erik de Amaral in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cobe SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Passamo EC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gino Matos made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Erik Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Baiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Erik de Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Passamo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Rocha came free, but Erik de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Passamo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Jean Rocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik de Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Gino Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cléber Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Passamo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléber Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony de Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marquinhos Baiano in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik de Amaral saved Passamo EC from getting behind. 82 minutes into the game, Cobe SC's Marquinhos Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. When Cobe SC's Tony de Barros in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Passamo EC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cobe SC had won, even though Passamo EC had held more of the ball.
