In the 16th minute, Tiaguinho Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Afonsinho Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Manfred Låsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Paulo Munhoz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With his leg Manfred Låsberg managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Easy United's Afonsinho Pirani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute Afonsinho Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Låsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdullah Olgunsoy in the 30th minute of play. Afonsinho Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Manfred Låsberg made a huge save. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Easy United! After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hamdullah Olgunsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E.R Mergulhão - RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamdullah Olgunsoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Fabiano Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Soeiro in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luís Fabiano Alvarenga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dedé Mello showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. In the 55th match minute, S.E.R Mergulhão - RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Pitta to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Tiaguinho Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Soeiro in the 64th minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Easy United's Elias Mineiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manfred Låsberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Easy United reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. S.E.R Mergulhão - RS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
