Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aloísio Recife started the match with the kick off. Allan Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Itatuba SS's Aloísio Recife dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 10 minutes, Olavo de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itatuba SS and the PIX COMCU players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Itatuba SS got a freekick which was hit by Olavo de Andrade. Eurico Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Itatuba SS got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar de Sousa. PIX COMCU's Márcio Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Recife in the 22nd minute of play. Baltazar de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Moura having to interfere. Rubens Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Cerezo in the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Aloísio Recife made a precise shot to the right of Márcio Moura. PIX COMCU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 36th minute, Eurico Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Rubens Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Batista in the 39th minute of play. Márcio Moura made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Hugo Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Mendonça got free with Márcio Moura in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Eurico Batista made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, PIX COMCU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Aloísio Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PIX COMCU booed when Itatuba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Bernardinho Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIX COMCU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardinho Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardinho Cerezo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubens Quirino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardinho Cerezo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Eurico Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Bernardinho Cerezo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aloísio Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PIX COMCU's Bernardinho Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Alberto Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Itatuba SS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
