Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonathan Cardozo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jânio Santana hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Jânio Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Didi de Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 22 minutes, Zé Carlos Favoretto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Theozera and the Tupanaci players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Theozera got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Favoretto. Tupanaci's José Maria Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi de Sousa in the 27th minute of play. Luizinho da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Cardozo in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Tupanaci getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dudu Donato hit a great ball. If Jânio Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tupanaci defense, Jânio Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Sabóia. The Tupanaci fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Sabóia should have stopped the shot. José Maria Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jânio Santana took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Sabóia. José Maria Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Didi de Sousa was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jânio Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Theozera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Tupanaci's zone, Jânio Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Sabóia came out of the goal and Jânio Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Didi de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tupanaci's José Maria Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Tupanaci from getting a goal against them. If Jânio Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizinho da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Didi de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Theozera's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Jânio Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Theozera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jânio Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Didi de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tupanaci fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Theozera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
