Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Casjun FC's Vágner Barbosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Válter Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Décio Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Manoel Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Carioca. Casjun FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manoel Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vicente da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Casjun FC's Vágner Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Maria Sabóia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Cardozo in the 24th minute of play forced Casjun FC's goalkeeper Décio Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wambasther Nesta hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Válter Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casjun FC's Décio Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Cearense in the 28th minute of play. Décio Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Décio Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Cardozo in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Vágner Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casjun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vágner Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murillo Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Casjun FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Donato came free, but Décio Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Casjun FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Murillo Schmidt hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Roberto de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casjun FC and the Tupanaci players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Tupanaci a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ian Ferraz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Casjun FC's Décio Carioca. 1-2.

The wind increased when Jonathan Cardozo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Casjun FC's goalkeeper Décio Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válter Mazza. Vágner Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Vágner Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Casjun FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After some careless play in the Tupanaci defense, Vágner Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Sabóia. The Tupanaci fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Sabóia should have stopped the shot. When Vágner Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Casjun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Murillo Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. José Maria Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casjun FC. Vágner Barbosa took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Sabóia. José Maria Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Décio Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Cardozo in the 79th minute of play. When Renan Matorin fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casjun FC's protests and gave Renan Matorin a yellow card for diving instead. Renan Matorin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Casjun FC's Murillo Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murillo Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Murillo Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Ian Ferraz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Tupanaci's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Schmidt came free, but José Maria Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Barbosa in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Casjun FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tupanaci had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
