Dito Ramos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Gerson Nóbrega when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Erik Antunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerson Nóbrega. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Icoara Football Club's Erik Antunes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerson Nóbrega. Gerson Nóbrega yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A nice corner shot did that Iuri Ortiz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerson Nóbrega quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gerson Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Antunes in the 32nd minute of the match. Gerson Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dito Ramos in the 33rd minute. Recompensa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Dito Ramos scored to the left of an out of position Gerson Nóbrega, making the score, 3-0. Recompensa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icoara Football Club the free kick. In the 56th minute, one of Recompensa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Recompensa. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Icoara Football Club. Iuri Ortiz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gerson Nóbrega. 4-0. The supporters of Recompensa booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Recompensa defense, Erik Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerson Nóbrega. The Recompensa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerson Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Erik Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerson Nóbrega. Recompensa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 80 minutes into the game, Icoara Football Club's Dito Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerson Nóbrega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Erik Antunes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gerson Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icoara Football Club. Icoara Football Club's Dito Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Erik Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
