After 11 played minutes Flamengo GG got a freekick which was hit by Simão Mandrak. Moisés Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Melinaos short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Luizinho da Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 23 minutes of play, Theozera's Jânio Santana made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didi de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Theozera's Didi de Sousa in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Theozera's Luizinho da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Theozera from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo GG's zone, Didi de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Nascimento came out of the goal and Didi de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcão Neves hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jânio Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moisés Nascimento was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Jânio Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi de Sousa in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute Zé Carlos Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Flamengo GG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Theozera were winning 0-1.

The supporters of Theozera booed when Flamengo GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Moisés Nascimento made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Theozera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flamengo GG.
