After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Patricio Melinao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo GG's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Melinao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvério Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dário Campidelis made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PARMA FC's Jeremias Vasconcelos. Alexsandro da Cunha took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Nascimento. Moisés Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ismael Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PARMA FC's attentive Jeremias Vasconcelos managed to snatch the ball when Dário Campidelis made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Luiz Eduardo Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Nascimento was a little too slow when Ismael Tinoco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. Ismael Tinoco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moisés Nascimento came out and tried to block the shot, but Ismael Tinoco slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Flamengo GG's goalkeeper Moisés Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexsandro da Cunha. Moisés Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Tinoco in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Flamengo GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Neves to maneuver through the defense. Flamengo GG's Moisés Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Tinoco in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Flamengo GG's Falcão Neves got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Ismael Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Fernando Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moisés Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Tinoco in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Flamengo GG getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dário Campidelis hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, PARMA FC's Alexsandro da Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 68 minutes, Patricio Melinao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo GG and the PARMA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Flamengo GG getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Patricio Melinao hit a great ball. Moisés Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, PARMA FC's Ismael Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of PARMA FC booed when Flamengo GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Alexsandro da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PARMA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexsandro da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Flamengo GG's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro da Cunha came free, but Moisés Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Tinoco in the 90th minute of play. Ismael Tinoco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Nascimento having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PARMA FC fully deserved thier win.
