Jataí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vágner Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Décio Carioca stood somewhat misplaced when Eliseu Martins came free in front of goal and shot 3-3 to the left of him in the 95 minute. Jataí were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
