Flamengo GG's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fernando Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerson Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Melinao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Nóbrega having to interfere. When Rafinha Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recompensa's protests and gave Rafinha Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Melinao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerson Nóbrega having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, Flamengo GG's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Hugo Silva came free, but Moisés Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flamengo GG's Patricio Melinao got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Nando de Sousa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Flamengo GG's Moisés Nascimento. Moisés Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Recompensa's Gerson Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Recompensa from getting a goal against them. Falcão Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Nando de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo GG's Moisés Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nando de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Flamengo GG got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Neves. Victor Hugo Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Nascimento having to make a save. In the 61st match minute, Recompensa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th match minute, Flamengo GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Neves to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando de Sousa in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Victor Hugo Silva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moisés Nascimento. Victor Hugo Silva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Flamengo GG's Dráuzio Gaspar got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Nando de Sousa took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Moisés Nascimento to make any attempt to save it. Gerson Nóbrega came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo GG's Patricio Melinao. But to his dismay, Patricio Melinao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to Flamengo GG getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Falcão Neves hit a great ball. Patricio Melinao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gerson Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Rafinha Vianna threw the ball into play from the sideline. Flamengo GG's Dráuzio Gaspar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Recompensa's zone, Patricio Melinao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson Nóbrega came out of the goal and Patricio Melinao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Melinao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gerson Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Flamengo GG fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Recompensa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
