Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliseu Martins started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Faustão Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo GG and the Jataí players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute Eliseu Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Flamengo GG's Falcão Neves got a free kick in the 5th minute. Moisés Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Martins went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Eliseu Martins took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Moisés Nascimento to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 24 minutes, Dário Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo GG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 minutes, Danilo Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo GG and the Jataí players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Flamengo GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Arce to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilmar Lira in the 27th minute. Dário Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Flamengo GG booed when Jataí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Flavinho Loyola elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

After 84 played minutes Flamengo GG got a freekick which was hit by Dário Campidelis. The supporters of Jataí booed when Flamengo GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Eliseu Martins notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Flamengo GG's Moisés Nascimento. Moisés Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nilmar Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Jataí players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
