After having played for 29 minutes, Pedro Paulo Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S C Novaki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Paulo Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wiig's Délio Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Lopes in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Manoel Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S C Novaki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manoel Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Lopes in the 36th minute of play forced Wiig's goalkeeper Délio Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Gustavo Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Tião de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Gustavo Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pedro Paulo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião de Medeiros in the 66th minute of play forced S C Novaki's goalkeeper Mané Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edson Novaes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Luís Gustavo Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Wiig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, S C Novaki's Manoel Lopes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Délio Pombal. Délio Pombal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Tião de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mané Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Gustavo Brito in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manoel Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Pombal having to interfere. Manoel Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Délio Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredão Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
