Roger Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Teles in the 11th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Agnaldo Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Poalelungi went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Frederico Hoffmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Säfström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Hoffmann ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Salqueiro EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Joel Custódio hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, Salqueiro EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Poalelungi in the 39th minute of play. The Salqueiro EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LaEle1000vezes were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Poalelungi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Joel Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salqueiro EC's protests and gave Joel Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Salqueiro EC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Agnaldo Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Godoi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salqueiro EC's zone, Wanderson Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fellipe Godoi came out of the goal and Wanderson Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Fellipe Godoi throw himself and got hold of the ball when David Poalelungi in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Joel Custódio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of LaEle1000vezes booed when Salqueiro EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wanderson Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the LaEle1000vezes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Falcão couldn't finish the play. When the match was over LaEle1000vezes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Salqueiro EC throughout the match.
