Tião de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe Damião got in the 13th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Jedrzej Domalik and thus it was 1-0. If Ambrosio Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Wiig booed when ESTOPIM CAMPINAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo Brito scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jedrzej Domalik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's Jedrzej Domalik got control of the ball when Tião de Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wiig's Guga Donatello got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Luís Gustavo Brito made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Brito in the 51st minute of play forced ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's goalkeeper Jedrzej Domalik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Gonçalves came free, but Jedrzej Domalik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Délio Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jedrzej Domalik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's Ambrosio Faron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Délio Pombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wiig's Afonsinho Veiga got a free kick in the 72nd minute. ESTOPIM CAMPINAS's Jedrzej Domalik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Gonçalves in the 80th minute of play. Tião de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Domalik having to interfere. Tião de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jedrzej Domalik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wiig had won after a very even match.
