In the last second Eliseu Sabóia throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kléberson Loureiro in the 11thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Hudson da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Elias Furtado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Kléberson Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Kléberson Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leverger F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléberson Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Murilo Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Montenegro took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Sabóia. Eliseu Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When João Augusto Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrada das Areias FC's protests and gave João Augusto Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Estrada das Areias FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leverger F.C:s goal. The referee gave Leverger F.C a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elias Furtado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Estrada das Areias FC's Eliseu Sabóia. 2-1. Estrada das Areias FC's Murilo Proença got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Murilo Proença off the ground. After 39 played minutes Estrada das Areias FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Proença. The crowd rose to their feet as Estrada das Areias FC's Osvaldinho Leme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luís Paes. That made the score 2-2 after 52 minutes of play. Osvaldinho Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Paes made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Leverger F.C's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Paes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldinho Leme. Estrada das Areias FC's Osvaldinho Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st match minute, Estrada das Areias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Arlindo Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Sabóia having to interfere.
