Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Fábio Borges kicked off to start the match. Luciano Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Luiz Fábio Borges got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 43 minutes into the match, Sporting Colegio RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Borges came free, but Luciano Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jacinto Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FLU - TAMOIOS's William Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FLU - TAMOIOS booed when Sporting Colegio RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Mineiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FLU - TAMOIOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Santos in the 76th minute of the match. Sporting Colegio RJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FLU - TAMOIOS the free kick. Thomás Freitas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. During the 94th minute of the match Thomás Freitas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Thomás Freitas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luciano Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FLU - TAMOIOS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
