Lauro Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Loureiro in the 37th minute of the match. Lauro Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléberson Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Duda de Andrade hit a great ball. Davi Meireless short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Pedro Luís Paes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Davi Meireles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Pedro Luís Paes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davi Meireles was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Leverger F.C's zone, Natã Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Paes came out of the goal and Natã Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Luís Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Corrêa in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Arlindo Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arlindo Montenegro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 61st playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Loureiro in the 64th minute of play forced Navegantes's goalkeeper Lauro Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
