When Charles Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Trolls Lança Negra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Sabóia couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ezequiel Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Trolls Lança Negra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Diniz couldn't finish the play. Renan Alcântara hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Emerson Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Eger might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Custódio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giovanni Eger ran back to his position shaking his head. Júnior Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júnior Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Júnior Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Dominik Radzyminski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Proença in the 32nd minute of the match. When Glauco Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curinhaem's protests and gave Glauco Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Curinhaem getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Glauco Mandrak hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes Curinhaem got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Lima. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júnior Lima to make the kick off. Juninho Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dominik Radzyminski made a huge save. Curinhaem's Eliseu Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Eger in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trolls Lança Negra's zone, Duarte Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Radzyminski came out of the goal and Duarte Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Diniz struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Eliseu Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trolls Lança Negra. 65 minutes into the game, Trolls Lança Negra's Ezequiel Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Giovanni Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Curinhaem's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Diniz came free, but Eliseu Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clóvis Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Curinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Proença to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Eger took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Custódio. Eliseu Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Curinhaem getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Emerson Dracena hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Emerson Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curinhaem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 93rd minute, Giovanni Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curinhaem's Eliseu Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Eger in the 96th minute of play.
