Renan de Godoi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Armandinho Duarte's late challenge caught a Os Predadores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Os Predadores FC's Mathias Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Os Predadores FC from getting a goal against them. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FLU - TAMOIOS. With a little luck, Os Predadores FC's Mathias Pontes got control of the ball when William Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Luizão Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelson Queirós during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 87 minutes into the match, FLU - TAMOIOS's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Ramalho came free, but Renan de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Os Predadores FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing FLU - TAMOIOS to win.
