Leverger F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tancredo Zamudio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tancredo Zamudio in the 37th minute of play forced Leverger F.C's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Leverger F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tancredo Zamudio came free, but Pedro Luís Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tancredo Zamudio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rio Tavares Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet.
