The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, CR Alanzinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Tancredo Zamudio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Oséias Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fellipe Botelho scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oséias Secco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Julian Matthew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséias Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tancredo Zamudio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Bruno Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Rossi took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Paraense. Bruno Paraense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Ademir Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Tancredo Zamudio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Tavares Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 57th minute, Tancredo Zamudio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oséias Secco was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's Tancredo Zamudio in 61 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Oséias Secco guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's zone, Dinei Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Paraense came out of the goal and Dinei Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oséias Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tancredo Zamudio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tancredo Zamudio in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oséias Secco saved CR Alanzinho from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, CR Alanzinho's goal looked a bit too open when Tancredo Zamudio came free, but Oséias Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Albuquerque was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Rio Tavares Esporte Clube booed when CR Alanzinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Mateus Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Tancredo Zamudio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Oséias Secco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the game, Rio Tavares Esporte Clube's Tancredo Zamudio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oséias Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Dinei Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Paraense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinei Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rio Tavares Esporte Clube had won after a very even match.
