Luciano Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Mineiro having to interfere. If Dinei Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Colegio RJ's zone, Aílton Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Mineiro came out of the goal and Aílton Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aílton Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Luciano Mineiro made a huge save. Sporting Colegio RJ's Luciano Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Albuquerque in the 19th minute of play. Luciano Mineiro made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Dinei Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Dinei Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Tales Vieira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Mineiro. Sporting Colegio RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tales Vieira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Henrique França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CR Alanzinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Tales Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Albuquerque in the 36th minute of play. The corner ended in Luiz Fábio Carioca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Colegio RJ's Luciano Mineiro did a great save. Hélder Matorin's late challenge caught a CR Alanzinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Sporting Colegio RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Matorin to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Toninho Albuquerque notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sporting Colegio RJ's Luciano Mineiro. Luciano Mineiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Jacinto Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toninho Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Dinei Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Mineiro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The CR Alanzinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. A collision led to CR Alanzinho getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Henrique França hit a great ball. Jacinto Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, CR Alanzinho's Tales Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Sporting Colegio RJ's Luciano Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Albuquerque in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that CR Alanzinho were the better team. CR Alanzinho's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
