After having played for 15 minutes, Kimi Gordeenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tortuga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kimi Gordeenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Vivaldo Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Tortuga FC's Kimi Gordeenko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kimi Gordeenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivaldo Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kimi Gordeenko ran back to his position shaking his head. Vivaldo Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kimi Gordeenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes, Karol Swiderski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sev Hortolândia and the Tortuga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Karol Swiderski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Genílson Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tortuga FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sev Hortolândia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
