Jarbas Soares's late challenge caught a Alianza House Stark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Soares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute Fabiano Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Gaspar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alianza House Stark's Frédson Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Alianza House Stark from getting a goal against them. Samuel Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Saraiva having to interfere.
