After a rather tough play, Abacates's Oséas Valladares got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Luiz Paulo de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abacates's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marquinhos de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Paulo de Mendonça's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Marquinhos de Medeiros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Real Position booed when Abacates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquinhos de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Luiz Paulo de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Alexandre da Cunha notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Abacates's Abel Novaes. Abel Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abel Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Abacates's Abel Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Nóbrega in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Position's Alexandre da Cunha got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Gaspar to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Position's goalkeeper Marquinhos de Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diego Romero hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Luiz Paulo de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marquinhos de Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Abel Novaes was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Samuel Gaspar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuel Gaspar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 70th minute of the match, Samuel Gaspar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abel Novaes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 74 played minutes Real Position got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Linares. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre da Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel Novaes. That made the score 0-6 in the 83 minute of play. The supporters of Real Position booed when Abacates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match, Mauro Nóbrega got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abel Novaes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Diego Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Abacates supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Position's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Position.
