Daniel Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Lima came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Severo's Júlio de Queirós. But to his dismay, Júlio de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Daniel Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Afonsinho Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Tróia having to interfere. Horácio Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinho Tróia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Claudinho Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Faria in the 21st minute of the match. Dênis Castro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Júlio de Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Lima having to make a save. 63 minutes into the game, Grêmio Vista Alegre's Afonsinho Camargo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Tróia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 72nd match minute, Severo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Secco to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho Tróia came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Vista Alegre's Afonsinho Camargo. But to his dismay, Afonsinho Camargo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Grêmio Vista Alegre were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Severo for a fine match.
