Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Severo's Durvalino Pirani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Júlio de Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Severo and the Regina Apostolorum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Júlio de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Severo's Durvalino Pirani got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Elder Faria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudinho Tróia. Elder Faria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Severo's Júlio de Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruy de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Severo's Claudinho Tróia got control of the ball when Wiliam de Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Severo's Júlio de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruy de Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Regina Apostolorum's João Vítor do Vale ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudinho Tróia. Claudinho Tróia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After 41 played minutes Severo got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Custódio. 43 minutes into the match, Regina Apostolorum's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio de Queirós came free, but Ruy de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruy de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Severo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when João Vítor do Vale 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Claudinho Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo's Claudinho Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Monteiro in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Gilvan Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Dênis Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy de Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Severo defense, João Vítor do Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinho Tróia. The Severo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinho Tróia should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute João Vítor do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Tomé Custódio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Severo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regina Apostolorum the free kick. Ruy de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Pirani in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, João Vítor do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Tróia. Severo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Vítor do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. 85 minutes into the match, Severo's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Faria came free, but Claudinho Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Regina Apostolorum's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Durvalino Pirani scored to the left of an out of position Ruy de Carvalho, making the score, 5-3. 90 minutes into the game, Regina Apostolorum's João Vítor do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Tróia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. Claudinho Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor do Vale in the 94th minute of play. Ruy de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Moura in the 95th minute of the match.
